Farm Gate Price Update – Week 50

The Vannamei farm gate price situation will definitely drop in the near future. The reason is that factories are almost out of urgent delivery contracts. Some farming areas in Bac Lieu and Kien Giang have started to harvest and good production output. However, from now until the end of Jan 2025, prices will not drop much due to domestic demand.

Vietnam: In week 50, the farm gate prices of Vannamei most sizes have leveled off after a long period of rising up. In particular, prices dropped from VND 2k to 8k per kg applicable to sizes from 30 to 55 pcs/kg.
